Just bring your attention to watch community video on Lower Sesan II dam in Stung Treng province, Cambodia,
Five villages from northeastern Cambodia participated to create videos
to express their concerns about the proposed Lower Sesan 2 dam project.
Each village chose filmmakers that received basic training on operating a
video camera and using a microphone. These five videos were then edited
together to make a composite "statement film" to represent a spectrum
of feelings about the proposed dam.
Wild Piggy was named by my a teacher of mine, who has touch teach me English since 2002, he used to call me; Kon Chrouk Prai (mean Wild Piggy). Wild Piggy will share stories of his travelling's experiences, social and environment issue that have been affected by development project in the 3S region (Sesan, Srepok and Skong River) and the Mekong Region as whole.

3S Living Rivers Newsletter Edition 5
Welcome to the 5th edtion of 3S Living River Newsletter. The 3S Rivers (Sesan, Srepok and Sekong) in north-eastern Cambodia contribute more than fifteen percent of the Mekong’s water flow and are representatives of important and biologically diverse ecosystem types. The 3S Region is also home to numerous minority groups and indigenous people including; Brov, Jarai, Kachok, Kavet, Kreung, Kreung Lon, Lao and Tampoun. Riverside communities in the 3S Region have always starts stated that their way of life has been dependant on the wild rivers’ resources which include fresh water, fish, other aquatic fauna, and wild vegetables.
In this volume will bring you some main stories around 3S area and the Mekong such as; Regional Media Tour “Promoting Regional Understaning of Community Concerns in the 3S Region",
